The masterplan for a new contemporary house, designed by Michaelis Boyd Architects, situated on a steep site close to the South Devon coast with stunning views of the River Erme. We worked closely with the architects to help site the building in the most favourable way aesthetically and to achieve planning permission in this highly sensitive site. Accordingly, the house was situated considerably lower than previously within a carefully graded landscape which includes a new forecourt & drive, wildflowers and new tree plantings and herb filled terraces around the house.
